The second viewing of a property is the time to look at sensible things like the electrics, fuse boards, boiler condition etc etc. Also I have to say you’d generally have a second viewing BEFORE making your offer!

Credit crunch bites...

House offer accepted...what now?

We had great news that our offer was accepted WOOOOOHOOOOO :-) of course because the house seller was taking his time thinking about the price and that we didn’t have to sell to buy his property and therefore were chain free we only found out just before we left for a long weekend away....

The estate agent called to say he had spoken to the vendor and that he is keen to get moving with things but really not able to go as low as £178,000 as this was our opening offer we weren’t too surprised....

So on sunday we worked out the renovation costs of the properties but came to the conclusion that the one we really wanted was the larger of the 2, of course that makes it the most expensive one as well.....


House Viewing Frenzy

We are relocating and so the viewing of properties is a challenge to fit in and have to be all arranged on one day so a good relationship with the estate agents is recommended. We knew how many rooms we needed so we were able to reduce our list of properties to view down to 10!......
